I have a version for the defintiion from the point of view of a song.
Non-exclusive means that the artist retains the right to her or his material, this means that if you give your song(s) to a HAFHP that you are able to license the song(s) or any derivatives thereof to other people, or otherwise use the song(s) in any way you want. The license is revocable too, so if there is any time when you want to stop allowing HAFHP to use the song, you just let us know and we won’t use it any more. That won’t affect licenses we’ve already entered into, but we won’t do anything more with the song(s).
